The first ever music video that was aired on MTV was "Video Killed The Radio Star" by The Buggles back in 1958. MTV is famous for airing the newest and latest music videos by the best artists on the planet. When you want to watch music videos the first place you will look is MTV. There has never been any records of the very first music video that was made because around the same time, they all started being released.
60's
The 60's music videos were mostly dominated by 'The Beatles' who were the hottest group of singers on the planet. They released their mega hit 'A Hard Days Night'. The video was very popular and many people liked it.
70's
In the 70's a lot more music videos were being released. The Jackson 5 brought out one of their most famous songs "ABC". This song was a big hit in the charts and the music video for it was very popular. Also another big hit song was "American Pie" by Don McLean. This video got a lot of people talking.
80's and 90's
These 20 years were the years that some of the most famous ever music videos were created. Here is a list of the top 5 in these 20 years.

HI Nathan, some interesting information here that really needs backing up a little more statistical data or evidence....you say about the Beatles and it may also be useful to compare with what the most popular group was before these...was it Elvis Presley who? Find out....
ReplyDeleteUse more images to back up what you are saying too...maybe front page headlines of the time or record/ video listings from 1970- 1980-90-2000 etc.
Update and do more research as it will result in a higher mark being attained.
